Daily Mind-Training for Modern People
In this busy, chaotic world it is very important for our day-to-day happiness and peace that we learn how to control our mind. In this course, you will learn new ways of thinking to transform the ordinary, daily activities of your life into opportunities for learning and personal growth. This is a practical course designed to show us how to apply simple meditation techniques in the midst of a normal, modern lifestyle. Everyone is welcome to this course on training the mind; no previous experience of meditation is necessary.
This course will be based on the text Universal Compassion, a commentary to a powerful and insightful 12th Century meditation text entitled Training the Mind in Seven Points, which was composed by the great Tibetan Bodhisattva Geshe Checkawa.
Drop-in anytime. Everyone is welcome to this course on training the mind; no previous experience of meditation is necessary.
